What is the best way to get rid of redness in a pimple/zit?

I know toothpaste helps sometimes, but I want to see if there are any faster remedies.





Also, how do I get a pimple that%26#039;s on the verge of getting a white head get the white head faster? Once the white head is gone, it doesn%26#039;t hurt anymore. But i have a zit on my chin, and it hurts really bad. i%26#039;ve had it for 3 days, but the white head just won%26#039;t come. owie. lol.

It will draw it to the top.|||For making the redness go away and healing faster, Clearasil makes something called Adult Tinted Acne medication. You can find it on the shelf at most drug stores. It has medication, and covers the redness.





You can bring a pimple to a head faster by applying heat to it. Try soaking a small towel in hot water and holding it against your face for a few minutes. Just repeat that process for a while and it will help it come to a head faster|||Try a poultice, this sounds weird but it sometimes works.. Get a small piece of bread dip it in very hot water and place in clean cloth a bit of bandage or something similar, then place over boil. As the bread shrinks it will draw out the yukky stuff to the surface. This can also be used for foreign bodies in small cuts.|||Hot washcloth or go to the drugstore and get this old time remedy called drawing salve. Its a black sticky gel used to get out splinters and stuff like that. I have used it on those undergrounder zits before, overnight, it brought out the head.|||ice ice ice!! Get an ice cube and ice it down. Ice helps to take down inflammation. Also put a spot of benzoyl peroxide on it after you ice.
