What鈥檚 the safest and quickest way of getting rid of a pimple?

I have this ugly, digusting pimple on my face about the size of a full grown lady bug. It鈥檚 located on my chin on the lower left underneath my lip. I hate it and I wish I knew how to get rid of it. Besides make- up covering this disgusting beast, what other ways can I get rid of this monster?? Please help!!|||Wash your face well every night, don%26#039;t sleep with makeup. Try to get the pimple to develop a head by using steam or a warm washcloth compress. Then you can apply some topical stuff. Mario Badescu makes a dyring lotion that you can apply:

You can also use benzoyl peroxide (Clearasil, etc) or a clay mask to soak up the oils.|||do not pop it ...it will cause more pimples and make that one worse...get an acne wash..|||use a skin friendly makeup first off . then try spot remover from neutrogena or clearisal. if pimples are chronic think about getting proactiv or acne free to keep you clear|||i went 2 this face doctor or sumthing along those lines and he told me that if u get a pimple not to pop it coz if it pops under ur skin it will corse bad damage and the best way for ur skin is to just put a good quality cleanser on it and apply a cleanser everynight 2 keep ur face clean to stop preventing pimples!!! hope that made sense and goodluck!!|||POP IT ALREADY!!!!|||BRACE YOURSELF!!!! and pop it, duh!|||pop it|||Whatever you do, DONT pop it! It will leave a scar and it will just make it look worse! I get one every once in awhile, and I put mint toothpaste on it at night, and it is mostly dried up by the morning. The toothpase dries it, and the mint relieves the puffiness and redness. Can%26#039;t hurt to try it, just please don%26#039;t pop it, thats how you get crater face!|||i have found that the product proactive really does work, if you get the refining mask you can use if for random pimples and it clears them over night|||hot steam clean your face (fill bathroom sink w/ very hot steaming water, cover head with towel over steam for at least 5 minutes) and then dab it with witch hazel or rubbing alcohol.|||honestly..this has always worked for me..do try it:-

Use a hot compress on it (a washcloth, sponge, or anything that will allow you to apply moist heat to the area), and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, rinse it with warm water, blot off the excess water with a clean towel, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.

this will help drain the pimple out and not leave scars|||Well you should have been using clearisil before you even got this pimple anyway! but i think you buy some proactive i save up on that and whenever i use it the pimple is gone in like one night!!|||ZENO.|||Put tea tree oil on it|||first, don%26#039;t pop it unless it%26#039;s a last resort cuz it will probably scar. something i%26#039;ve heard is great for that is this emergency ance lotion from clinique (about $13) and it is supposed to be very fast and effective at getting rid of those cystic pimples. if you can%26#039;t get to a clinique, i would suggest putting toothpaste over it overnight or for like an hour and that should reduce it some. another method that is supposed to be very effective is making an advil spot treatment for it. just take an uncoated advil, drop a little big of hot water on it (just like a drop or two) and wait for it to soften up. just mash it up a little big and make it into a powder and then mix it with a little bit of aloe vera or honey. just leave it on for like half an hour and i%26#039;ve heard that it can reduce it by like half the size! hope that helps!|||First of all, do NOT pick at it or pop it. This will lead to bleeding and scarring. Use a product such as ProActiv and the pimple will disappear in a day or two. Hope that helps|||don%26#039;t pop it, try the clean and clear pimple gel, or panoxyl gel. or let the expert do the popping, try to visit a derma sometimes. good luck|||Well you could use clean and clear, or you could do the horrible job of scratching the top off it. It you were to scrath it do it before you get in the shower, I find this really helps because the water stops bleeding, or anything else that will come out of it. Hope you get rid of it :D Good-Luck!|||wow that sounds huge and painful. just dont go outside for a couple of days until it goes down.|||don%26#039;t pop it, b/c it leaves scars...put dove soap over it for now. get acne medicine (over the counter) ...|||Haha, your additional info was histerical. Anyway, go to Sephora in the mall, and buy a product called DDF. Get ther Glycolic 10% gel, put a tab on the spot where the %26quot;beast%26quot; is, and by the morning it should be gone. It works wonders. Here it is if you want to buy it online because you dont want to be in the mall with the %26quot;beast.%26quot; Im jk: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>|||get knife and cut it off and then put Clearasil on it and salt-instantly gone|||Don%26#039;t touch it or pick it. Wash your face a couple times a day and try to wipe the pirsperation from your face often if your active. Try not to rest your face on your hand or arm when you%26#039;re sitting or sleeping.|||clean and clear persa gel|||nuke it!!!!!!!!|||if you cant pop it (because there are some monsters that just don%26#039;t pop), DO NOT MESS WITH IT. you will make it look worse... try to leave it alone and keep it clean as possible.. clean and clear stuff in a silver tube with a purple lid works really well for me.|||steam or a hand hot flannel.|||Vanessa B

Let me tell you something not many people know,

When you try to wash the oil off your wash using soap or

any store brought product what happends is it sucks up alot of the natural oils

out of your skin, and what happends when that occurs? your

skin goes into over time trying to reblimish the lost oil

and doubles the amount, your pores open up more to get more of the oil out and air in so let me help you

Ah ok well my mother had the same problem as you,

and let me tell you what she did to make it stop,

this is a home treatment of course, the only thing

you may need to buy is a lemon if you dont already have some in the fridge,

what you want to do is get some lemon and squeez that

sucker into a tiny bit of honey, and mix that all together, put that

into the area where you want treated and wait 5-10 mins and than wash off,

the lemon works great as a toner and as we all know toners are

great for tighthing the skin and even better for your pores to look

smaller, the honey helps as an evener, it will even out the uneven

skin tone and also sooths the skin,This teachique not only destorys the pimples you already

have but it also helps prevent them from coming up again,Drinking alot of water

every day also helps alot :) Well I hope this helps %26lt;3 good luck

-- Love Vanessa|||Just get a black magic marker and put a dot of ink right in the center of the pimple......people will just think its a mole!|||warm compresses will bring it to a head and it will bust on its own or you can do what youre not supposed to do and pop it.when you pop it be sure to get everything out of it. they will bleed a bit. then i would wipe it with alcohol and put neosporin or another antibiotic ointment over it so it heals faster and prevents infection.they hurt really bad sometimes which is why i have to pop it myself.|||Well, you have a few options.

1. You can take a wash cloth, run it under hot water and hold it to the pimple until it comes to a head, which means until it turns whitish on top. Then take your two index fingers and pop the top of it, but this COULD leave a few marks, but not always. It%26#039;s also a little painful.I had a very big zit near my nose and i popped it because I was sick of looking at it and it was heeuge, but it left a bit of a mark. it%26#039;s hardly noticable thoughm since i have freckles and i think it will heal.

2. You can go out and buy a spot treatment, just apply it to the pimple as the directions say and it should go away over time. Maybe a few days at most.

To prevent pimples, wash your face regularly. I reccomend Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser and moisturizer, and using St. Ives apricot scrub once or twice a week to get all the gunk out of your pores. And to conceal a zit, if you put ice on it that should take care of the redness. Good LUCK!!
